Besides being a great Chiropractor, Dr. Lewis is also past president of the American Chiropractic Association’s largest council – The Council on Nutrition. The Council on Nutrition requires that it’s members must have doctorate level credentials; membership includes Chiropractors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Medical Doctors and PhD’s.

Over the last eight years, Dr. Lewis has served as both Vice President and subsequently, Executive Director of the Council on Nutrition.

Dr. Lewis has been practicing chiropractic in the San Antonio area for 36 years.

She is a graduate of Texas Chiropractic College, 1984. Her style of practice is a blend of many techniques, including Diversified, Applied Kinesiology, Contact Reflex Analysis, Total Body Modification, Activator, Nasal Specific, and Acupuncture. She has also studied Brimhall, Thompson, Cox, Leander, SOT (Sacral Occipital Technique), HOI (Palmer, hole-in-one), Logan Basic, Reflexology and Clinical Kinesiology.

Dr. Lewis is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists and Diplomate of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition. She is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist, Senior Disability Analyst and Diplomate, and is a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. She has past experience as a Certified Laboratory Technician from BAMC/Baylor University. Dr. Lewis is a Certified Naturopathic Physician by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board. She is also an advanced graduate of the Spine Research Institute of San Diego.

Dr. Lewis is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Texas Chiropractic Association, the Texas State Naturopathic Medical Association, the Christian Chiropractic Association, the American Academy of Chiropractic Physicians, the Medical Training Institute of America, the ACA Council on Nutrition, the International & American Association of Clinical Nutritionists, the ACA Council of Family Practice and the TCC Alumni Association. She is also a lifetime member of Kingston’s Who’s Who and a past member of Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals, for fifteen years.
